When I was growing up, Filipino cuisine, to me, was defined by what was served at our home – adobo, kaldereta, kare-kare. And as I travelled to different provinces in the country, I realized that there was so little that I knew about our food. I hope this book fills the gap. Here I share the recipes I discovered and enjoyed in various parts of Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao, with each giving us a glimpse of the region’s culinary habits, customs and lifestyle.
