PAMANA TALKS – HERITAGE AS A WAY TO UNDERSTAND ARCHITECTURE: An Architect’s Journey

Heritage conservation is not just an advocacy and a movement: it has also become an industry that enabled many great architects all over the world. Being more immersed in this field creates a great impact in contributing to the deepening of one’s understanding of architecture, and vice-versa. Architects will then yield into various explorations—witting or unwitting—of the relationship between heritage and architecture, between architecture and heritage. Grupo Kalinangan has invited Ar. Dominic Galicia of DG Architects to share his stories on his personal explorations with architecture from the lens of heritage conservation. The webinar will also be a discussion of selected projects and their relationship with heritage, as well as his continuously developing understanding of the relationship between heritage and modern architecture.

This webinar is on Friday, May 14, 2021, 6:30pm-8:30pm, and shall be streamed via Facebook Live and on our official Grupo Kalinangan Youtube channel.

Registration to the webinar is free, and all registered participants shall receive a Certificate of Participation upon submission of the feedback form after the webinar. Limited seats only.

You may also make a donation to Grupo Kalinangan as part of your registration. Your donation will help us continue our drive and mission to promote and preserve our Philippine culture and heritage. We thank you for your continued support!
