To educate and empower local governments, communities and institutions manage their cultural heritage resources more effectively through innovative IT-enabled solutions, platforms, programs and services.

Our Story

It began with a map and a mission.  And a call for help.

Over five years since the volunteers of Grupo Kalinangan have formed itself as a team, we have grown into a formidable organization that can readily respond to the needs for our cultural heritage.

Architect for JSLA Architects, a premier design firm in Manila. She has been volunteering for Grupo Kalinangan since 2017.

Graduated AB Development Studies at Ateneo de Manila University last 2018. Currently working at USAID/SURGE Project. Active volunteer from Batch 9.

Training officer at the Philippine Social Science Council. He also studies at the Asian Center, University of the Philippines, with research interest in Filipino Catholicism.

President and founder of the Cagayan Heritage Conservation Society, a member-consultant of the Cagayan Provincial Culture and Arts Council and of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao Commission on Church Patrimony. Studies Philosophy at the Lyceum of Aparri Graduate School.

Studied at the Ateneo de Manila, the Philippine School for Business Administration and the Asian Institute of Management. Works for the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Dwells in documenting places and faces through photos and information he gathers of the places he has been to.

An architect, heritage advocate, author, conservation architect. Currently an Assistant Professor Level III at the College of Architecture, University of Santo Tomas and a Senior Researcher of the Research Cluster for Culture, Arts and the Humanities also of UST.

A humane entrepreneur. Prior to this, she has had close to 30 years of experience in various roles in corporate, government and non-government organizations in the area of issue advocacy, program development and management.

Youngest and one of the most active volunteers since 2017. Recipient of GKI Chairman’s Award for Excellence in 2018. Currently taking BS Economics at University of Santo Tomas.
